Love & A Geriatric Gratitude Journal from Grandma’s Attic

Ever play Grandma’s Attic as a kid when sitting in the back seat of that non-air-conditioned, rusty old Studebaker on that hot, sticky, boring four-hour summer car ride to Ocean City, Maryland? If not, here’s how it goes:

Kid#1 starts: “I was in Grandma’s attic and I saw an Alligator eating Applesauce.”
Kid#2 repeats what kid#1 said and adds, alphabetically: “and I saw a Balloon and a Bicycle.”

Then the game goes on, each kid repeating everything and adding alphabetically until someone flubs up.

Well, for some Valentine’s fun, let’s take that 20th-century Grandma’s Attic game and combine it with the 21st-century Gratitude Journal concept… and expand the whole Valentine’s Day Love Theme into a Valentine’s Day Love-Them List.|

So…in case you are still semi-quarantining and bored out of your gourd, here is a page from a Gratitude Journal found in Grandma’s attic, a personal love list of old fogey faves, shaken, not stirred, with a geriatric twist.
